------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Mar 3 03:44:23 -0800 2006 ------- Loading an OOo1.x document into OOo2.x reveals an outline for some bitmap objects. This outline wasn't displayed in OOo1.x. This issue is about how to treat outline attributes when loading OOo1.x documents into OOo2.x. In the above scenario, the user expects bitmap objects to appear exactly the same in OOo2.x, as they did in OOo1.x. Though the outline attribute for bitmap objects wasn't supported in OOo1.x, it was possible to create it. When loading such documents into OOo2.x, the outline attribute shall be set to invisible, instead of displaying an outline. Just for your reference: Due to an OOo1.x bug (that has been fixed sometime before OOo2.0.2), it is fairly easy to generate an outline attribute for bitmap objects, though OOo1.x normally doesn't support this. In OOo1.x, do this: - Create drawing with a bitmap and a drawing shape; - Select both and copy via clipboard into e.g. Writer doc - ungroup in Writer Now the bitmap has an outline attribute, wich is accessible via the user interface. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
