------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 8 07:10:30 -0800 2006 ------- Currently I run OpenOffice 2.0.1 Dutch language with Sun JRE 1.5.0 Update 6. OO does not interpret the tab-spaces well. When your document looks fine in Word 2003, you will notice some out-of-order lines of text when opening it in OO. When an index is made in Word 2003, the file is edited and saved as .doc in OO, opened again in Word 2003, there is no way the index is editable. It seems locked. Also, when making an index in OO, it is being placed right out of the screen (end of the lines go through the right screen border) when opened in Word 2003. Often the left-margin is not correct (often too far to the right). This is a Word 2003 made file opened in OO.
