I checked with "2.0.1 RC5 German version WIN XP: [680m1(Build8990)]" and can
confirm the problem.
Steps to reproduce:
1. open new writer document
2. press F12 for Menu "Insert Table"
3. Select
2 Columns, 3 Rows
uncheck "Heading" and "Don't split"
check "Border"
<OK>
3. Put cursor by mouseclick to row 1 column 2
4. Open toolbar dialogue "Borders" and select "all around" (see screenshot)
5. Open toolbar dialogue "Line Style" and select 2pt
Cell 'row 1 column 2' will get new border as expected
6. save, close and reopen document
table looks as before you closed document
7. Move cursor to cell row 1 column 2 by mouseclick
8. Open toolbar dialogue "Line Style" and select 7 pt (=double line)
result as expected: cell with new border
9. save, close and reopen document
expected: table looks as after step 8
actual: missing border for cell
