------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Mar 10 08:05:20 -0800 2006 ------- Dear all, I've searched around a bit where to submit this, and I ended up here. Please forward this mail to the right people when it is out of place and tell me where this should have gone. The problem I am encountering is the following: I am writing my thesis project as a wannabe mechanical engineer and in the report I obviously have to use formulas. To speed up work I like to work with variables, which I define somewhere and use in various places throughout the document. I do this by entering a formula (F2) and typing =<variable>=<value> The problem is that using the variables for calculations only works when I put the formula after the place where the variable is defined. This is quite annoying because I'd like to put al those definitions in the back of my report in an appendix and not directly after the introduction.
