------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 11 04:56:56 -0800 2006 ------- Unfortunately, spreadsheet does not recognize numbers when entered with decimal point '.' (dot), while ',' (comma) is doing well - numbers are recognized. My local settings are: decimal separator is '.', thousands separator is ','. When activating "Tools - Options - Language Settings - Languages - Decimal separator key - Same as locale setting" number pad generates ',' (comma) and numbers are recognized as numbers and pressing '.' (dot) yields no recognition of numbers (treats as text). Unchecking "Same as locale setting" yields '.' (dot) when pressing number pad dot BUT numbers are still not recognized as numbers. What should I do for recognizing '.' (dot) as a decimal point (except for changing local settings in control panel - I must not do this)?
