Right click the picture > Graphics...> Hyperlink option is very much there. Type in some URL. press escape key to take the focus off the picture. Mouse over the picture. The hand comes up. click it. the url will open in the default browser. Once, you insert a link, you cannot edit it. This is somewhat tricky.
