I just did a check on XP, where I disabled ClearType, ran OO Writer, looked at the screen font, then enabled ClearType, ran OO Writer, and looked at the screen font. OO Writer is ALREADY affected by the global ClearType setting and my enhancement request (this issue) is thus bogus and void. Sorry for the mistake!
