Hi,

I know the difference between xls and csv. There are several programs on the
market, that export data to a .xls file. Actually the data are in a form of .csv
Data. When you're opening such a file using MS Excel the data are correctly read
into a spreadsheet. When you are opening this file using OO the file is openend
in Writer. Surely you can rename the file, but describe that to your standard
user in a company, you will get the answer, OO is stupid, MS Office does it the
right way.

I'm not reporting a bug, but a idea to make OO more useable.

regards,

Ralf
