Of cause you can set font colors. For the whole text you can do it in the style,
you have chosen for the text box, in the tab 'Font effect'. For single
characters mark them and then use menu Format - Character - tab 'Font effect'.
Please give a step by step description, what do you do, what do you see and what
do you expect to see.
