As I said, the problem occurs only after some working with OOo and I couldn't find out which steps have to be performed to reproduce the problem. However, I found out that it also affects images that have already been integrated into a text document before: When opening the document the image displayed fine. After some working with OOo instead of the image a read error was displayed.
