2006 -------
I'm able to create and save data tables and forms in base.

I can create but not save documents in either calc, writer, draw or impress
neither in OOo-1.1 format nor in OASIS. I can open and save old documents
(OOo-1.1 format) leaving them at the location they are. I cannot save them as
a copy at another location. I'm trying to save to my home directory.

Saving dialog only does a "blink" when I click Save button, filename blanks
and dialog remains open no matter what format I choose. Works the same with
Automatic fliename extension checked or unchecked. As a sidebar, options for
password and filter edit are greyed out.

I could not find a previous issue like this in the archives.
