The issue is too general and it is more a marketing statement than it is an
issue which can be worked on. Performance improvements are part of the continous
development goals of OpenOffice.org development. The Ou blog entry is Calc vs.
Excel specific and enhancements within the functionality used within his
documents are planned since a longer time and will be implemented in a planned
way within the sc.penoffice.org project. A document containing details can be
found within ooo-wiki (wiki.services.openoffice.org)
