------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 30 12:26:59 -0800 2006 ------- The bug is still present on 2.0.2, since issue 9861 was closed Ooo has some bit of performance but still happening with slow servers, Ooo should keep on file and ram a preview of the image to show even if the server has a temporary 404 or timeout (like yahoo geocities that do 404 on overquoted trafic sites), if you have a web server, try put some graph & text copy & paste to Ooo store your document, and delete the webpage with whole images. Them Try to open the document, and you'll see errors on images, cause images was linked, and loads every time you pass over, some times it can take 1 or more minutes to reload the image, caming from another page of tht document. I guess if Ooo unlink the foreingn images and just refresh only by an user option, it would not happen. I use to apply a Graph Filter (Negative twice) to unlink the images, but I have no option later to reload the image if was changed.
