The Xorg version is 6.9-1.cvs20050915 as shipped by Mandriva on 2006 DVD. The rpm for xorg-x11 can be found on http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/mandriva/2006.0/i586/media/main/xorg-x11-6.9-1.cvs20050915.2mdk.i586.html BTW, I think the bug is related to Xinerama. When I disable Xinerama I am able to use OOo but of course it is not one large screen but two independent displays (DISPLAYs 0.0 and 0.1) in that case.
