2005 -------
I had trouble with StarOffice 7 trying to change large files to Word and back
for my customer (Sun) several months ago. OpenOffice was recommended and
worked well. I just upgraded from 1.1.3 (which worked well) to 1.1.4. After
the upgrade it still opened files in 1.1.3. So, I removed 1.1.3 and installed
1.1.4 in a different folder. That works well except double-clicking a file
saved by 1.1.4 opens it in StarOffice 7. I tried right-click to get the dialog
box and choose OOo 1.1.4 and checked the box to always open that file with
1.1.4. It still opens in StarOffice when I double click the file. I must use
the OOo icon in the task bar and open by finding the file to open in 1.1.4.
