2005 -------
I have installed and tested
openoffice.org-1.1.3-2.5.fc3.i386.rpm
openoffice.org-i18n-1.1.3-2.5.fc3.i386.rpm
openoffice.org-libs-1.1.3-2.5.fc3.i386.rpm

I've also installed and tested
openoffice.org-1.1.3-5.5.0.fc3
openoffice.org-i18n-1.1.3-5.5.0.fc3
openoffice.org-libs-1.1.3-5.5.0.fc3

Neither version cures the inability to open pre-existing auto-mounted files.

In fact, these versions exhibit worse behaviour than 1.1.2-10.
Version 1.1.3-2.5 introduces a "mis-feature" in Calc that causes a paste
operation (^V) to shift cells downward instead of overwriting a cell.

Version 1.1.3-5.5.0 is completely unusable because it fails instantly when I
click "Open". Not only can I not open an NFS file - I cannot open *any* file.

I've reverted to version 1.1.2-10 from the Fedora Core 3 distribution.
