There are two ways, OO displays fonts in the windows: from the system settings or its own font "Andale sans UI". This can be switched in Tools.Options.OpenOffice.View. Please post the settings you have made in your Windows XP Desktop settings under "Appearance" / "Advanced". Or save your Theme settings and attach here. Thanks! Does problem only affects tha Navigator in Writer?
