Yeah, and that seems to be the source of this problem. The font worked OK on
windows before win asc/dsc changed, so I guess the latest attached font will
have the same problems on windows again.

I would prefer if we use the font with original metrics as suggested by hdu.
That way we will fix the bug this issue was open for. Let solve the other
problems in different issues later. Trying to solve more problems at once seems
to get us nothing (so far).
