The bar chart should have three colors (purple, yellow, red). In my sheet, the legend shows 3 colors, but the diagram shows only 2. Also, the chart looks really strange... If you do not see this behaviour, have a look at the picture attached. How did I get the problem ? I created a doc with all sorts of graphs (the third file attached) and then I created the last diagram. For that diagram, I changed its type, and re-arranged the series several times. There the bug appeared ! If you change the type of the diagram, I think anything is correct again. For that bug, I have no way to reproduce it by now.
