------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 20 05:02:40 -0700 2006 ------- Hello Josef, There is no existing directory "Recovery" in "share\registry\modules\org\openoffice\Office". You have to create this directory when you save the attached file (see Step 2 of instructions I wrote). This is a documented method of setting configuration parameters by adding a file to the share\registry\modules tree. The name of the file does not matter, only its location and the extension .xcu. The location modules\org\openoffice\Office\Recovery\ causes the settings to be merged into the org.openoffice.Office.Recovery node. For more information, please refer to the OpenOffice.org documentation. If you prefer, you can also set the AutoRecovery value by creating and editing the file share\registry\data\org\openoffice\Office\Recovery.xcu. Whichever you are more comfortable with. Please, no more suggestions on how to "fix" the problem. I'm not looking for technical support. I am reporting a bug.
