------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 1 15:34:02 -0700 2006 ------- I'm using Openoffice 2.02 and the most recent Kubuntu Dapper. Under 2.01 the Sum function works fine in a Base query. With 2.02 I can execute any query as long as it doesn't use the Sum function. The Sum fuction also works on a local database - I can only reproduce with an ODBC connection to a mysql database. Steps to reproduce: Create a connection to a mysql database using ODBC Create a query Add a table to the query Add any numeric field to the query Select Function "Sum" for the numeric field Click "Run Query" button or Edit -> Run Query Application hangs --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
