I can confirm this. I have a dual-monitor configuration and they are set up so
that the CRT is to the left of, and about 400 pixels higher than, the laptop
monitor. It also has a higher resolution, so that if there were a rectangle
drawn from the top-left corner of the CRT to the bottom-right corner of the
laptop, there would be two rectangles at the bottom left and top right which do
not appear on either screen. This might be the reason for problems like this.
OOo can pop up its menus so that they are split up between the two screens
(ugly) or so that part of the menu is in that area which is not shown on either
screen.
