------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun May 14 13:40:29 -0700 2006 ------- There is a problem to save changes to any document if the backup directory is deleted from user's preferences directory (..\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\backup) and the option „Always create backup copy” is marked as active. How to repeat: 1.Delete the appropriate directory ..\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\backup; 2.Mark the option „Always create backup copy” as active; 3.Open any document; 4.Make any changes; 5.Try to save the document – no way – the response is „Could not create backup copy” 6.There is three possibilities how to save the changes: * turn off the option „Always create backup copy”; * recreate the backup directory; * save the document as a new file. May be it's better to keep the backup files in the same directory as the original ones?
