------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 26 01:55:47 -0700 2006 ------- It's a convoluted setup for this I'm afraid: * New blank document * F11 to open style box, select numbering styles * Create an outline style, say "TestOutline" set to "1.1.1" mode * Back to paragraph styles page * Edit Heading 1 to have numbering style "TestOutline". Also in the organizer tab set "Next Style" to "Heading 2" * Edit Heading 2 to have numbering style "TestOutline" * Enter the text "Heading 1" and set it to paragraph style "Heading 1" * "1 Heading 1" is now shown - good * Start a new paragraph by pressing enter at the end of paragraph 1, type "Heading 2" * "1.2 Heading 2" is shown and "1 Heading 1" has changed to "1.1 Heading 1" * Click Heading 1, and choose "Heading 1" style from the style drop down (even though that is what it already is) * Everything is now as it should be: "1 Heading 1" and "1.1 Heading 2" This has always worked for me before. If "Next Style" isn't used, and the styles are set manually, then this behaviour is not seen. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
