User bm changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Assigned to|bm |mba -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 29 05:46:15 -0700 2006 ------- ->MBA: How should we implement Saving of charts? I don't understand especially two things: 1. It appears that an embedded object has to provide a dispatch for all available commands that are merged into the menu from the container, e.g. "Save". But the embedded object doesn't know what commands the container has, which of them are available and what to do on execution. Isn't there a kind of forwarding mechanism? 2. We need to implement the "Save" command in the chart. What should we do there? Do we have to distinguish between embedded and standalone case? Currently, the model is queried for XEmbeddedClient to call saveObject there, which actually fails, as the model isn't derived from this interface. Please help.
