User mba changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Target milestone|OOo Later |OOo 2.0.1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 17 00:04:09 -0800 2005 ------- Thanks for the clarification. The Windows task manager is not reliable to detect memory leaks in applications. I can tell you only if the memory is returned to the system and if the system really uses it. But there is a memory management between the application and the system, and it is possible that it's just an implementation detail that the memory manager of the runtime library just doesn't return memory immediately. I don't say you are wrong, but the whole problem is very complicated and usually takes a long time to investigate. *If* there really was a memory leakage of 22KB per document I wouldn't see this as a big problem for 99.5% of the users, so the target "Later" is still the right one for me. But I hope that we can find some time for this in the next months, so targetting this to the next "micro" release seems to be appropriate. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
