------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jun 4 09:34:17 -0700 2006 ------- Upgraded to NeoOffice 2.0 alpha 3 patch 1. All my .stw templates transferred to the new installation. Opened a .stw template, made several changes. Chose File->Templates->Save. Clicked the old file name in the templates dialog, and confirmed OK to overwrite. Save occurred without any abnormal indications. Closed document (discard changes.) Chose File->New->From Template; selected newly revised template. All my changes were gone. Went to the Finder, navigated to ~/Library/Preference/Neo2.../templates/english and found that there were two templates with the same name: one used .ott and the other .stw. I manually removed the .stw template from the folder. Returned to Neo2, chose New->From Template; selected the same template name; all my changes were present. Seems that Neo2 defaults to the .stw file type, and does not discard the .stw when overwrite is confirmed and .ott is used as the extension. THIS BEHAVIOR IS CONFIRMED IN Ooo 2.0.2/X11 by another user, and has been submitted to the NeoOffice bugzilla . Another Neo forum member suggested that the bug be posted here, since it seems to be core behavior. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
