User mba changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Assigned to|mba |oc -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 17 02:39:41 -0800 2005 ------- Maybe that there are other sources for information, but: (1) There is no evidence given here in the report, so the bug report is inacceptable. If a bug does not contain any other information than numbers from the windows task manager I will never accept this as an evidence for a memory leak because I know and I can proof that those data is at least incomplete, but mostly wrong and misleading. (2) Neither Carsten nore myself is in charge for memory leaks, that's a global issue that should first become assigned to MT as you did already. Malte forwarded this issue to Carsten without any comment(!) so I didn't recognize this, otherwise I would have sent it back to him and let him decide wether he wants to take action. (3) The target OOo2.0 was completely unacceptable because there is no time for an investigation with a potential result that is not important for >99% of the users. A memory leak that (following issue 40568) is roundabout 20-30K per document will not hurt any user. If you consider that OOo1.1 might have the same problem you can see this as an evidence for my assumption. Now you have changed the target to OOo2.0.1, that is fine, so now it is a duplicate to issue 40658 anyway (that IMHO also still needs justification and correct assignment but I'm fine with leaving it as it is until we start working on OOo2.0.1, because we have planned to look for memory leaks anyway). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
