There are a few other issues on the subject, for example issue #13972, issue #21684 and issue #44303. The workaround wg mentioned in issue #21684 (using a metafile) is a nice work-around, but it doesn't solve everything. In my particular case, I'd like to resize a diagram with figures and text boxes so that it fits into a presentation. I would then like to have effects to make certain elements appear at different times. For this, I need to break the metafile after resizing, which displaces the text elements and seems to round up their font sizes.
