User hro changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|NEW |RESOLVED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |WONTFIX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 17 07:09:43 -0800 2005 ------- Verified this with Mozilla 1.7, Thunderbird 1.0, Firefox 1.0. They use the characters until the first dot of the document description of a file extension in the registry. This can be a user friendly _document_ description or a forward key. This is not how to find out the application name or description. For other attachments (.txt, .mpg etc.) you'll find Mozilla to tell the same nonsens. You can configure Mozilla to open an attachment automaticly but for good reason (Viruses) this is not the default. We might file them a bug, but I guess there's already one because it happens with all kinds of attachments. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
