Volker,

As discussed by e-mail, dmake is no longer able to build itself using its own
makefile.  I normally run make win95-vpp40 to build dmake once, then install it
and use it to build itself again in a fresh source tree, just as a quick test
that all is well.  In this version I get the error:

dmake.exe:  makefile.mk:  line 119:  Error: -- An AUGMAKE meta target must not
be mixed with non AUGMAKE meta targets, offending target [.MKDIR]

You pointed out that this is a bug in the dmake makefile that needs fixing, so
here's an issue for it as required.
