Hi,

This problem is not limited to one spreadsheet - I have the same problem on all
Calc files that I open but the problem is limited to my computer. Perhaps I
have mangled the settings of something somehow. When another user opens the
file, 'Find and Replace' works fine on it, at his terminal.

Step by Step:
1. I highlight desired cells to be edited
2. I go to the 'Edit' menu, drop down to 'Find and Replace' and click
3. Nothing happens
4. The 'Find and Replace' binoculars icon 'lights up' (or shows itself as
depressed) and upon return to the 'Edit' drop down menu there is a checkmark to
the left of 'Find and Replace'.

I will attach the file the propblem 'originated' on.
