What do you dislike - the 'ν' or the 'v'? I agree, these letters look rather
similar with the standard fonts which are "Times Roman" for the "v" (variables)
and an unknown one for the Greek letter symbols. You can change that, and so I
believe we can only discuss whether other standard fonts should be selected for
base installation of OOo.
