------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jun 27 10:26:34 -0700 2006 ------- Ever since OOo 2.0.0, the following happens: - I start OOo writer; - I click on the font list to expand it; - I scroll down the list. OOo tries to list the font using that same font; - When certain fonts appear at the bottom, scrolling down stops and the PC freezes; - After about ten seconds, the frozen state is over and the listbox gets back in the one-line state. When I reopen it, all TrueType fonts are now the same. The OOo fonts are still ok. It appears the xfs (the X font server, handling TrueType fonts) has died. Restarting the service seems to work, however after a restart of OOo TTF's are not available anymore until the PC is completely rebooted. This problem didn't happen on the 1.x versions. I recently upgraded from 2.0 to 2.0.2 and the problem is still the same. I use RedHat9, using only RPMs with a consistent dependancy tree. More info: Linux version 2.4.20-8 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 3.2.2 20030222 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-5)) #1 Thu Mar 13 17:54:28 EST 2003, using XFree86-xfs-4.3.0-2.i386.rpm PLs let me know if you need more info or specs. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
