Hi,

I'd like to see the facilities for manipulating the Y axis on the X axis, too.

The following are rationales for the various options for Y that I'd like to see
for X; since I'm using a German version of OO, I'm guessing the English terms
and quote the German ones in parentheses.

"Scaling" ("Skalierung") tab:
* "Minimum" and "Maximum" could be adjusted by changing the data range.
Um... well... assuming the data series are sorted by X values. I'm not sure
whether that assumption is always true - if it isn't, Minimum and Maximum would
be really useful for those who get their data unordered (or are doing multiple
graphs with different columns for the X axes), and wish to do by-range
filtering.
* "Main interval" ("Hauptintervall") and "Subinterval" ("Teilintervall").
These are the main reason why I request this. With several 100 data points,
there's no good way to fit all these labels on the X axis - I definitely want to
skip most of them to keep the display readable at all!
* "Axis at" ("Achse bei").
I didn't need this yet, but I imagine the same reasoning that makes this useful
for the Y axis should apply to the X axis.
* "Logarithmic scaling" ("Logarithmische Skalierung").
Useful for X just as for Y. Actually it's so useful that you can even buy graph
paper with a logarithmic scaling on both axes, which is a pretty strong argument
that such a scaling would be useful.
* "Main interval ticks" ("Marken für Hauptintervalle") and "Subinterval ticks"
("Marken für Teilintervalle").
I didn't need this yet, but I imagine the same reasoning that makes this useful
for the Y axis should apply to the X axis.

"Numbers" ("Zahlen") tab:
I didn't need any of these yet, but I imagine the same reasoning that makes this
useful for the Y axis should apply to the X axis.

"Labelling" ("Beschriftung") tab:
Again, the same reasoning that makes this useful for the Y axis should apply to
the X axis.
Particularly the "Rotate labels" ("Beschriftung drehen") setting is something
that I'd really like to have - a 90° rotation would help me to place many more
labels on the X axis.
