So - this patch has been festering in our tree for ages, hidden under a bug
number that 1/2 of got up-stream already.
The patch essentially adds the capability for a menu item to have (in 1 mode)
either an image or a checkbox, and in the other, an image and a checkbox.
I'd love to see this in, albeit with the getenv("UGLYCHECK") disabled, and a
hard-coded MENU_FLAG_SHOWIMAGES in there. Then we can shrink our patch to just 1
line, and perhaps bang on the UI experience team some more :-)
