As the file in question involves banking records, I was reluctant to include
it in the original post. However, I went through the file and replaced
charactors and numbers so that the information is unrecognizable, but the
structure of the file is unchanged.

In editing the contents of the file, I also noticed that the file is made up
of multiple frames. This file is generated out of Crystal Reports as a Word
formatted file from an Oracle database. Each record presented is placed on a
new line in its own frame.

A bug in Crystal prevents us from creating a text file directly as it puts an
extra space at the beginning of each line. The fixed format that the bank
requires precludes using this as an option. MS Word converts the text frames
into the desired lines of text, but it is almost like OOo Writer is treating
each frame as a graphic and ignoring them in the conversion to a strictly text
format.
