I tried to use the RSComm control from C++ which gave me the same error.
Generally, accessing dispinterface properties and methods works. The test with
a VC++ MFC control worked. Allso a test with VB component worked as well.
However, its properties were implemented as dispinterface methods. Seemingly VB6
does not support dispinterface properties anymore.
RSComm can however be used from VB. So there seems to be a dependency we are not
aware of. It would be helpful to reproduce this error with a component which
source code is available to us. Otherwise I cannot help at the moment.
