When I save a OOWriter document which has all my school notes as a web
page(HTML), to share my notes with the world, it always requires a manual fixing
as follows.

I save as HTML, then open the HTML again with OOWriter and view its source code.
Then I do the following substitutuions to the code with (CONTROL+F):

<BR> to (nothing)
</P> to <BR>
<P STYLE=.......[whatever]......> to (nothing)
[tabulations] to &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
CELLPAD=4 to CELLPAD=1

Basically I always need to manually correct all the line spacing, recover the
tabular spaces, vital in content menus and I also need to make the tables have
decent cell sizes.

I spend lots of time whenever I do a new version of my document and I convert it
to HTML to share it with the world because HTML saving has simple but very
annoying conversion mistakes. And as I say usually these are educational pages,
and so I find it very sad that thousands of people like me waste so much time
when it comse to propagate knowledge.

I also notice that formulas are very badly converted to GIF images. The
conversion is so bad that the formulas get wrong! complete symbols might
dissapear.

Anyway, this is all constructive criticism. I love the idea of OpenOffice, so
good luck lads!
Thank you for the atention.
Lucas
