This is to indicate the user that there is a filter applied and so not all values are displayed. - click the autofilter button again to open the filter list - leave the autofilter menu by pressing ESC or by clicking somewhere in the document: Note that the arrow of the button is black again, slthough a filter is applied! This is more than just a minor cosmetic bug, because this indicates the user if a filter is applied or not.
