Might be - you are not using the same build (me: OOo_2.0.176_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz, rpm: ooo-dev-writer-2.0.4-176) - you are using different helper tools (me: ESP Ghostscript 7.05.6, ImageMagick 5.5.4, pstoedit: version 3.32. Don't know, which one is actually used...) - different OS (me: SuSE 8.2, Kernel 2.4.20, glibc 2.3.2...) However, the main problem IMHO is that an existing (lovingly hand-made) preview gets deleted and apparently regenerated with this build. Keeping the preview if it's already there would solve most of the problem.
