All will work fine until the query will be closed and re-opened or the Query Design View will be switched off and again on. After both actions the II Level query won't work anymore, because Base modifies the calculated field, inserting in the "Table" line the name of a "normal" table. This behaviour can easily reproduced by the attached little sample database.
