A few problems with file associations in Windows XP SP2 latest build.

(1) Click Start | Settings | Control Panel | Folder Options | File Types. Only
OpenOffice shows up as an assignable association. The individual applications do
not appear. Setting OpenOffice as the associated application does work for
multiple file types in SOME cases (documents and spreadsheets, for example), but
it should work for ALL supported file types (image files, for example).

(2) Trying to use OPEN WITH (right click file, select Open With | Choose Program
| Browse) to open an image file with DRAWING fails. The app loads, and never
appears. Likewise, trying to associate DRAWING with an image file type results
in the same behavior. Opening the file type loads the app, but the app never
appears.
