Characters in the font "Symbol" (originally from a Powerpoint presentation,
which I imported into Impress)
are displayed correctly on screen (and exported correctly to PDF) but do not
print correctly. Maybe they are
incorrectly replaced by OpenSymbol characters when the PostScript is generated?

I had to revert to OOo 2.0.2 to print the document correctly to a PostScript
file.

This is for the Intel version of OOo 2.0.3 for the Mac.

Cheers,
Eibe
