This issue has been fixed now in cws[impress99].
There are no problems anymore to read the png pictures from Willem van Schaik's
test suite, except standard 2bit graphics (basn0g02.png), but this is no problem
of our png filter, therefore I wrote Issue 67660
The png testsuite can be found on:
