Hi,

I have detected a problem when changing the page template sequence in a document
template.

Scenario: My document template was originally written in 1.1.x and uses a
cover-page, followed by a contents-page, followed by a standard-text page. In
the meantime my TOC spills over onto a second page (which is standard-text
instead of contents) so I set out to change the document template in SO8 +
latest patches.

I do this simply by calling up the template-manager (F11) and modify the
succesor page style for the contents-page template point to itself (instead of
standard-text template)

This caused SO8 to crash.

I have been able to reproduce the problem with SO8 on linux (SuSE 10.1) and Win
2K. The latest Novel Openoffice for SuSE 10.1 also crashes. In the end I had to
use my old 1.1.5 to modify the document template.

By the way, I am pretty sure that this is a new bug. In the past (about 3 to 6
months ago) I was able to change the page-style sequence for documents I was
writing at the time. Since my templates are on a network drive, I just didn't
take the time to modify the template source.

I'll upload the document template after posting this message.

Regards,
Charles
