------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jul 25 15:11:07 -0700 2006 ------- 1) open some .odt document. 2) choose menu->file->export as pdf 3) enter file name to save as ......say test.pdf 4) in the pdf options dialog box select "security" and enable "encrypt pdf document" and enter a password 5) enable "permission restrictions" 6) click on "export" open test.pdf document with adobe acrobat reader (7.0.8 in my case) and click on menu->file->document properties.
