------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 4 08:36:50 -0700 2006 ------- I have a number of large OOo sxc-format spreadsheets I use as work logs. I've been using OOo1.1.2, and have reasons for maintaining compatibility with 1.1.2. I recently installed 2.0.3 and used it on these spreadsheets, to discover that all that had been written by 2.0.3 caused 1.1.2 to crash (freeze) when I attempted to open them. I was able to recover my compatibility with 1.1.2 by using 2.0.3 to save the files in (cough) xls format, then open that with 1.1.2 and re-save as sxc. I have kept the apparently malformed documents and they consistently crash 1.1.2, but I cannot post them here because of confidential content, and unfortunately I've been unable to create a sample document that I can post that exhibits the problem. But it is reproducible with installations of 1.1.2 and 2.0.3 on two different machines (both Linux). The spreadsheets are large, e.g. 7 columns, 1200 rows, but simple: just text with a bit of cell background coloring and some bold formatting. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
