------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 14 20:36:10 -0700 2006 ------- Some more thoughts about these suggestions: 1. When the converted pdf files contain screenshots, they will appear sharp only when the file is displayed at 100% zoom. At any other zoom factor, they appear hazy/blurred. That is why launching with 100% zoom is important. Similarly, the other zoom factors also could be useful to let an image on the front page fill up the whole page. 2. In the "open the bookmarks tree to n levels" feature, Writer should sense how many levels of headings are actually used, and show those many levels in a pull-down menu. The "first level only" is a special case, because some readers do not wish to see a complicated long tree at launch. They want to see only the chapter headings, which are at level-1 (usually). However, some authors may have "PART I", "PART II", etc at level-1, and chapter numbers at level-2. We need to open such documents with two levels of bookmarks tree. Some other viewers may wish to see the entire tree fully expanded. Thus, these three choices are more usual. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
