My point is just that the old parts/behaviour is not specd, so the old behaviour is taken as 'wanted behaviour' (-> spec) usually, even if it is an error viewed from nowadays. As long as that is not broken/a regression, it 'works as defined' in that sense. As i already said, if most people like it more to look at this one as defect, it's okay for me in that case, i don't care too much.
